Description |
"The image consists of a shot, in black and white, of a skeleton that was dug up from it's grave in a cemetary in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. This shot was taken in the summer of 1984 as part of my ongoing work in photography. The print was printed twice on a deep purple background, with text dividing the horizontal placement of the two nearly identical images. This piece was influenced by my own real life experiences with human relationships and my contemplation of death as part of my artistic and intellectual development". |
