Description |
Born in San Antonio, Texas, artist Vincent Valdez earned his B.F.A. at the Rhode Island School of Design in Illustration. Recently his work has been featured at Mexic-Arte Museum and he will have work included in a traveling exhibit sponsored by the San Antonio Museum of Art, Chicano Visions: American Painters on the Verge, from the collection of Cheech Marin. This narrative print tells of the frustrations, pressures, expectations, and burdens of a man in society, "…many times we only hear the side of the woman." |
