Description |
Candace Briseno studied in Castiglione, Italy where she became fascinated with designs, patterns and altar pieces. Initially, her body of work took the form of collage pieces. Her print the Heart's Altar is a duplication of an image from one of her original paintings, and uses an organic flower as a symbol of something "cherised." Currently she uses acrylics and natural objects as centerpieces situated on wood panels. Briseno has a BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and teaches art to Elementary students. |
